Nigerian content creator Ademola Abiodun, popularly known as DJ Chicken, has regained his freedom from the Kirikiri Correctional Centre in Lagos and spoken publicly about his experience after leaving the facility.

The controversial entertainer shared his excitement on Tuesday, thanking God and expressing appreciation to his supporters after spending time in custody over allegations linked to comments involving Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu.

The development came after a Lagos State Magistrate Court remanded him following accusations that he made threats against Seyi Tinubu.

Shortly after his release, DJ Chicken appeared in a video alongside his lawyer, where he celebrated his return and reflected on the value of freedom.

“I’m back oo, freedom at last. God bless the Nigerian government, God bless Seyi Tinubu, and our president. I love you guys,” he said.

The content creator also encouraged his followers to appreciate everyday freedom, describing his experience in custody as a reminder of its importance.

“It is not easy, my fans. People that are free don’t know what God has done for them. Freedom is good,” he added.

DJ Chicken’s initial comments that led to his arrest attracted public attention, with authorities taking action after the remarks were considered threatening.

Following his release, the entertainer appeared focused on moving forward, while expressing gratitude towards those he credited for his freedom.
