D’banj reveals Don Jazzy suggested the Mo’Hits split, praises him for handing over his catalogue and unreleased songs

Afrobeats star D’banj has opened up about the split of the iconic label Mo’Hits, revealing that it was Don Jazzy’s decision to part ways.

Speaking on the Mic On podcast hosted by Seun Okinbaloye, D’banj said he was at peace with the split and wouldn’t change anything about it.

Contrary to earlier speculations, D’banj clarified that Don Jazzy initiated the separation, and he expressed gratitude for the way it was handled.

He revealed that Don Jazzy handed over his full catalogue along with some unreleased songs, enabling him to continue his career smoothly.

Reflecting on their musical journey, D’banj acknowledged missing collaborations with Don Jazzy but believes their split was predestined.
