He explained that growing up in Anthony Village and later moving to other parts of Lagos exposed him to steady social mobility.

The actor said this background influenced his thinking about starting small before aspiring for bigger achievements.

He noted that his outlook changed significantly after meeting his wife.

Daniel Etim-Effiong said Toyosi consistently challenged him to move beyond his comfort zone.

He described her as someone who dared to aim far above perceived limits.

Recalling a key moment, the actor said he initially planned to buy a modest home in Yaba after marriage.

According to him, Toyosi questioned the plan, reminding him that she already owned a house in Lekki.

He said her confidence forced him to reconsider his self-imposed limitations.

Daniel Etim-Effiong said the decision to think bigger was a personal stretch.

He admitted that starting life in Lekki instead of Yaba felt intimidating at the time.

However, he said the experience expanded his mindset and strengthened his belief in bold choices.

The actor said his wife’s influence taught him to dream without unnecessary restrictions.

He added that marriage pushed him to grow mentally and emotionally.
