The visibly distressed filmmaker shared an emotional video on her Instagram page on Thursday morning, revealing that the disruption forced her to miss the first day of production for her new film project, reportedly valued at over ₦20 million.

Bolaji Ogunmola airline ordeal began on Wednesday when she arrived at the airport for a scheduled flight to Lagos and was informed that the flight had been delayed.

After hours of waiting, the airline later announced a cancellation without providing a clear alternative plan.

Ogunmola said she spent the night at a motel before returning to the airport early Thursday morning for a rescheduled 8:00 am flight.

She explained that the airline later shifted the departure time multiple times, first to 9:30 am, then to 12 noon, and eventually to 5:30 pm.

The actress expressed frustration over the lack of communication, stating that her cast and production crew were already on set in Lagos, with logistics fully arranged for the first day of filming.

She described the situation as devastating to her livelihood and emotionally overwhelming.

In the video, Ogunmola said the repeated delays affected not only her schedule but also the jobs and time of several professionals engaged for the production.

She added that apologies without accountability did not address the scale of the damage caused.

Faced with mounting losses, the filmmaker announced her decision to travel by road despite safety concerns, stating that she could not afford further delays.

She said her legal team would pursue the matter, stressing that the video served as evidence rather than a call for public confrontation.
