BBNaija’s Flora says she has no car or house, rejecting pressure to maintain a lavish celebrity lifestyle after leaving the reality show

Former Big Brother Naija season 11 housemate, Flora, has rejected pressure to maintain a lavish celebrity lifestyle, saying she does not own a car or a house and wants people to accept her for who she is.

The reality television star, who said she was still new to Lagos, warned people against taking pictures of her while walking on the street and using them to suggest that she was struggling financially.

“I no follow una do celebrity life o. I no wan hear say I dey waka one day for road with my black trouser, una con snap me say this girl dey suffer,” Flora said.

She explained that she had never pretended to live a luxurious life, even during her time in the Big Brother Naija house, and was unwilling to adopt an image that did not reflect her reality.

“I take God beg una o, I no get motor, I no get house, I no follow una live big girl life,” she added.

Flora also expressed frustration with the demands associated with celebrity status, particularly the expectation to participate in frequent photoshoots.

According to her, the pressure to maintain a particular public image had become tiring, as she preferred to remain authentic rather than meet expectations created by her appearance on the reality show.

“I no do big girl for Big Brother house, na so I dey real life,” she said.

Flora’s comments suggest that she does not want her lifestyle or financial circumstances to become a measure of her worth, insisting that her appearance on Big Brother Naija should not lead people to expect her to live beyond her means.
