Shortly after, Macaulay updated her Instagram Stories with messages interpreted by users as a reaction to the controversy.

One post read, “Sometimes, trying to prove that you are the best is an insult,” while another featured burning matchsticks with one stick pulled aside, captioned, “The power of stepping away.”

The posts came hours after 2Baba appeared on media personality Daddy Freeze’s Instagram Live. During the session, two of the singer’s former management associates, Kaka Igbokwe and Lori Tosan, accused his wife Natasha Osawaru of exerting excessive influence over his personal and professional decisions.

2Baba interrupted the live stream, demanding that the discussion about his private life cease. Observers noted a scuffle in the background, with Natasha appearing to restrain him, before the session ended abruptly.

Monday’s incidents have intensified public attention on 2Baba’s personal life.

The singer’s separation from Annie became public earlier this year, followed by his engagement to Osawaru in February and marriage in July.
