An American content creator known online as Tikibeen1 has stirred intense online debate after claiming he was detained inside a Nigerian police station shortly after arriving in the country and informed that he could face deportation.

The streamer made the claim in a video shared on TikTok, where he filmed himself from inside what appeared to be a police facility.

In the footage, Tikibeen1 said he had just landed in Nigeria when security operatives detained him and confiscated his passport.

“I’m about to get deported. I just got off a flight to Nigeria,” the content creator said in the video, which has since circulated widely across social media platforms.
