Evalsam, who became an internet phenomenon with his chant, “Nawa o, some people dem too do oh,” described being physically attacked by a group of men, tied up, and humiliated.

He claimed that one assailant soaked pepper in water and poured it over his body from head to toe.

The incident reportedly escalated when Evalsam was taken to Eko Hotel under the pretense of signing a ₦20 million endorsement deal.

He alleged that Kingmitchy, associated with the hotel, guided him to act as if signing official documents while a staged photo was taken, and the deal turned out to be fictitious.

“This revelation is shocking, especially since many believed the Eko Hotel deal marked a major turning point in my life,” Evalsam said.

Evalsam’s rise to fame began after his viral video captured the attention of content creators and fans.

Following the initial viral moment, he received significant support, including a fully furnished apartment from Nons Miraj and contributions from other content creators, along with monthly support in cash and food supplies.

Despite these gestures, Evalsam’s recent claims have sparked widespread online debate, with many questioning the authenticity of the partnership and the circumstances surrounding his public rise.
