Afrobeats superstar Adekunle Gold has cancelled his much-anticipated performance at Music City Central, citing organisational and logistical issues.

In an official statement, the singer explained that the event organisers failed to meet key obligations, and the venue was not prepared to host the show.

“I won’t be performing at Music City Central today. Unfortunately, due to the organisers not meeting key agreed obligations and the event not being in a state that allows us to deliver the kind of show you deserve, we can’t proceed,” Gold stated.

The singer expressed regret to fans who had made plans to attend, thanking them for their loyalty and understanding.
