The Nollywood actress and wife of billionaire politician Ned Nwoko clarified that her now-controversial video was simply part of a trending content style inspired by Mama G, the iconic comic persona portrayed by Patience Ozokwor.

Speaking in response to growing criticism, Regina Daniels addressed fans who claimed the video was inappropriate, particularly given her marriage.

She explained that the soundtrack used in the clip was part of a widespread social media trend and had no hidden or suggestive meaning.

“You guys are making my husband think otherwise with your comments,” she said.

“The video is normal. It’s just the soundtrack, and everyone uses it. You people should stop coming for me.”

Regina Daniels defends viral video further by expressing frustration at being forced to publicly clarify her intent, noting that the issue only escalated after negative comments began to affect her husband’s perception of the clip.

“If it’s not me, you people will let it pass,” she added. “Now you’re forcing me to explain myself because it’s beginning to reach my husband. But it’s just the soundtrack.”

Despite the backlash, the actress maintained a sense of humour, admitting she found some of the reactions entertaining—but drew the line when it started to affect her personal life.
