In a deeply moving Instagram post, Racheal Adelaja thanks God for what she described as a miraculous escape, saying she is grateful for another chance at life.

“Oba Alapadupe. The God who owns my life, the One who didn’t let me die before my time, I say Thank You, Lord,” she wrote, expressing her gratitude with sincerity and reverence.

Racheal’s revelation came with mixed emotions.

She offered appreciation to those who stood by her during her darkest hours—friends, fans, and colleagues who prayed and checked in when she disappeared from public view.

However, she didn’t shy away from expressing her disappointment in some members of the Nollywood industry.

She accused certain colleagues of gossiping about her situation without offering any form of support or concern.

“A few months ago, I embarked on a journey I wasn’t sure I’d return from… but Mercy said no. God came through for me and gave me another chance at life. I’m deeply grateful,” she shared.

If I had died, some of you would have written the longest tributes online. But God didn’t make me a headline through death. He gave me life.

“To those who noticed my sudden absence on all social media and checked in, I truly appreciate you. E o ni fi iru e gba lagbara Olorun,” she added in Yoruba, praying that such misfortune never befalls them.

Directly addressing the silence from some industry peers, Racheal wrote: “You heard about what happened, yet not a single call or text, but you had the time to discuss me at different locations.

It’s painful, but still, I thank God. If I had died, some of you would have written the longest tributes online.”

The post has since gone viral, sparking conversations about empathy and accountability within the entertainment world.

While some fans praised her transparency and strength, others echoed her disappointment over the behaviour of those who failed to reach out.
