Bella Shmurda has revealed how the death of his close friend and collaborator, Mohbad, completely altered his perspective on life.

During a heartfelt TikTok livestream with Joblaq, the Nigerian singer admitted that Mohbad’s passing left a deep scar but also triggered a powerful personal transformation.

“RIP Mohbad. After he passed away my brain reset, everything changed. The way I see things in life also changed,” Bella said with raw honesty.

The artist explained that he now finds himself in a phase of understanding life differently, likening it to moments when parents tell their children they will “understand soon” after misbehaving.

“I’m currently in that phase where I’m starting to understand. I have understood certain things,” he added.

Mohbad, born Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, died on September 12, 2023, under controversial circumstances that shook the Nigerian music industry and sparked public outcry.
